Our markers will attract to any magnet. If your hat clip has an edge or lip, make sure the dimensions of our marker will fit. Most of ours are no more that 1″ round. For all other shapes and sizes, if you hat clip is flat, it may work. The reason we sell our super strong magnetic hat clip is so that you don’t lose the markers in the first place. Many existing designs on the market have very small magnets. So buyer beware. If you want something that will really do the job, buy ours.
