I generally use my towel to clean my golf ball, and I was not aware of any other way until walking the PGA show and I found something new and unique. It was a way to clean your golf ball that attaches to your belt, so I had to check it out.
The product is Roll Ready, and it is pretty simple to use. You simply add some water to the inside green part and put your golf ball into it and turn it a few times. This is supposed to remove dirt, sand, and other things from your golf ball and get it clean.
I added the water to the inside part before I started my round. When it was time to clean my golf ball on the green, I put my golf ball in, and turned it several times. My golf ball was cleaner, however, to be honest it was not as clean as using my towel. I have used Roll Ready numerous times throughout several rounds, and it did an ok job, yet my golf ball in my opinion was not as clean as I prefer. In addition, you do need to wet the inside green part, like a towel, as it does dry out, so I added water at the turn.
Bottom line, Roll Ready is a convenient way to clean your golf ball, in my opinion it did an ok job, but not as good as cleaning with a towel. With a towel you can really scrub your golf ball a bit harder and get everything off.
