A Golf Grip Training Aid That Works!

golf grip training aid

My grip tends to change over the course of a few rounds, which leads to inconsistent ball flight. This is a problem that should be addressed and corrected so that my grip becomes second nature and there are no minor tweaks along the way. Finding a training aid to help is  important and I found a really good golf grip training aid to help.

It’s called the Original golf-grip training aid. The goal is to ingrain the proper hand position on the golf club. It’s very easy to use, you simply place it at the bottom of your golf grip and slowly pull it up so that both your hands fit comfortable on the Original golf-grip training aid. At first it was a little difficult to pull the golf-grip all the way on, however, it is flexible and you can use a bit of force and bend it just a bit so it slides all the way up. Don’t worry it won’t break.

The Original golf-grip has been molded to fit both hands perfectly, while the open areas on the golf-grip allow for maximum contact with the golf club. The back of the Original golf-grip has molded torsion fins to make sure the golf-grip does not slip off, and provides a superior grip to your golf club.

Test time. I put the Original golf-grip on my 9 iron, and at first just swung the golf club a bunch of times to get a feel for the proper hand position. I then used it while on my golf club at the range hitting about 25 golf balls. The golf balls were going much straighter now, and I could feel that my hands were finally in the correct position. I am now using the proper grip on my golf club on the range before going out to play a round, and my golf shots have been definitely straighter and more consistent.

Bottom line, if you need more consistency with your golf shots, proper hand position is a critical element, and the Original golf-grip will help you. It’s very compact and easy to throw in your golf bag. I would suggest using it at the range or even just taking a bunch of swings with it on your golf club before going out to golf. It’s a great help, and a winner in my book.

The company website is www.golf-grip.com and the cost is around $17.50.
