I use a divot tool all the time and keep it in my pocket. Over the years, I’ve had many types of divot tools, some with one prong and some with two; some were made of plastic and some metal. There are certainly tons of divot tools on the market and each one, if used properly, will help maintain the putting surface and is a courtesy to the golfer(s) following you. Often, you’ll even see signs requesting that golfers repair their divots and pitch marks – I’m a strong believer in obliging. I think it’s a common courtesy.
The Pitchfix Fusion 2.5 is a switchblade type golf divot tool, and I must say opening and closing it is a lot of fun. I remember years ago, I had something similar from another brand, and after a few rounds it stopped switchblade part stopped working. My hopes were high that years later, the company that I believe invented the switchblade golf divot tool would perform better. I took the Pitchfix Fusion 2.5 to my home golf course for a few rounds to test it out.
The Pitchfix Fusion 2.5 performed extremely well on every divot that I repaired. It was very easy to use, and after repairing the divot, you could almost not tell where a ball mark was. I give it straight A’s for that. My only issue is that the prongs on the tool got very dirty after every divot fix. I tried cleaning the Pitchfix with a damp towel and it removed most of the dirt, but not all of it. I could never get it 100% clean, although that did not stop it from working perfectly on every try. The dirt is a minor inconvenience but nothing that would stop me from using it again and again . . . it’s that good and that cool to use. The Pitchfix Fusion 2.5 also comes with a ball marker which attaches to the handle magnetically, which also came in handy; one less thing to have to carry around in your pocket.

Overall I really liked the Pitchfix Fusion 2.5. It is really fun to open like a switchblade, and does a great job fixing ball marks, which really is the most important part.
