I’ve tried many putting training aids and found some useful, however I always seem to have a little too much wrist action with my putting stroke. Finding a putting training aid to help solve this wristy action was an important part of improving my game, and I have found the product.
The company is ProStroke, and they make an excellent putting training aid to keep your wrists in check and help maintain the straight line down to your target line. The ProStroke attaches simply to the end of your putter and works with every putter. If you have a putter does that does not have a hole in the end where you can place a tee into use can simply use a piece of extra piece of Velcro which will keep the ProStroke attached and secure.
As mentioned you simply attach the ProStroke using a tee into the end of your putter grip. You then make sure it is lined up correctly and put the ProStroke against your leading arm. This will keep your wrists from being active and will keep them steady.
I put the ProStroke onto my putter and went to the practice putting green to start testing it. It took several minutes to keep my wrists against the ProStroke but I could teel when I did it correctly my putts where definitely much more on line. After 20 minutes of practice, I then went out to play. I had 31 putts which for me was excellent.
I continue to use the ProStroke training aid before each round and when I practice my putting. My putts per round have gone down by 2-3. I am very excited and pleased with my putting and my scores and handicap have gone down because of the ProStroke.
