I usually take a golf cart, however at least once a week I like to walk. I’m at the age where carrying my bag is to just much, and pushing a golf cart is also not fun. Pushing a cart is like work, and although many people will push back on that, I understand, however, I feel an electric cart is really a great option.
If you’ve never tried an electric golf cart it’s an easy walk. I started using the Kam Kaddie electric golf cart and I am enjoying my walking rounds a lot more. The Kam Kaddie I have to admit is in my opinion an entry level electric cart. It lets you go only in a straight line without having to use the handle bars to direct it. There are 5 speed levels from a very slow pace to a very fast pace, so you can find the pace that works for you.
The Kam Kaddie is also pretty lightweight and compact for easy transport in the trunk, and pretty simple to set up once you take it out of the trunk and put your bag on it. It also has straps for the top and bottom of your golf bag, and after numerous walks my golf bag has never moved an inch. I like that fact that it is very easy and simple to operate and when I need to turn left or right using the handle bars, again it moves very easily whichever direction I want it to go.
Bottom line, if you want an affordable and entry level electric golf cart the Kam Kaddie is an excellent choice. It’s easy to set up, transport, and operate. It may not have all the bells and whistles of other electric golf carts, however the price for the Kam Kaddie reflects. In my opinion, if you want to walk and not carry your golf bag or push a cart, the Kam Kaddie offers a great intro into having an enjoyable walk on the golf course.
