Imagine a team of experts and engineers mapping the shape and contact points of the hand, collecting data to create a new grip texture. Well, you don’t have to imagine it as it’s been done, and I’ve been testing several of these putter grips for the past 2 months.
The company, Rosemark Grips, uses a unique hexagonal design on the grip, which means the putter grips have tiny little bumps/nubs on the grips. These tiny little bumps/nuns to me feel nice. I can immediately notice there is no tension in the grip when I am putting. Another great benefit with these grips is that they are washable, and will remain tacky and will last 2-3 times longer than most other putter grips on the market.
Now, the most important part, testing the Rosemark grips and using them to putt. I put 3 different putter grips on 3 different putters and putted over 250 putts with each one. I did this over a 30-day period, during the day and sometimes at night on an indoor putting mat. Again, I liked the feel of the bumps/nubs on each grip and it was very noticeable that the amount of pressure I was putting on each grip was much less than my normal putter grip.
Bottom line, the Rosemark putter grips I really liked. They were tacky, tension free and I putted the golf ball closer to the hole or in the hole more times than with my standard putter grips. It wasn’t even close comparing my old putter grip to the new Rosemark Grips; Rosemark putter grips were significantly better! I plan on using the Rosemark putter grip on my every day putter, as I’m confident it will lower my putts per round, period.
