Putting is so critical to scoring that in my opinion nothing is more important. I’m always wondered if my eyes were over the ball correctly as I was getting ready to put.
I found a truly unique and effective putting training aid that is a winner. It’s from AimPutt, and it uses an alignment stick and a gate to get your eyes in the correct position. I have been training 3-4 days a week with the AimPutt. It is not easy and definitely takes practice, which proves why I have been missing so many puts to the right. It was evident my putter was hitting the right side of the gate, which meant my putter face was open. I also tried was moving the golf ball position a little forward and then a little bit back in my stance, and after 6 weeks, I can say my putting has improved. I am making more puts and my scoring has improved.
Overall, the AimPutt is a great putting training aid. With all golf training aids you need to use it on an ongoing basis. There is no immediate fix or cure for any issue you may have. However, AimPutt works and I continue to use it several times a week to keep my eyes and ball position current and in the best position.
