PGA Tour professional, Jim Furyk, is the brand ambassador for the On Point company who happens to sell a truly unique ball marker – it has a 3-dimensional design unlike anything I’ve seen before. On Point’s marker is domed but can convert to a flat marker if someone’s putting behind you.
The On Point ball marker acts as a visual guide that helps you commit to your putting line. It also happens to speed up the pace of play as well. This marker helped me visualize my line, by aligning the On Point marker’s line with the line that I had placed on my golf ball. This visual “connecting” of the line pattern helped me feel more confident before I hit my putt.
On Point’s domed ball markers come in several options – polished metal color with the choice of a black, blue, red or green line in the center (pictured below). They also offer a cool looking white dimpled option with either a single line or three line version (pictured below).
I really like this domed ball marker shape and found it to be surprisingly quite helpful on the putting green. It’s interesting that I’m repeatedly asked about this ball marker . . . to which I respond, “This is the best and smartest ball marker that I’ve ever come across”.
