Timing is everything with the golf swing, and while I have never tried a metronome before I do have golf buddies who have. They have used something in their ears to get a swing tempo down, and while I thought it was not for me, I could see how helpful it was for them, so I started looking into it. To use the Pulse simply tap the face twice to start it, then you can turn the knob in either left or right direction for a faster or slower beat. You will start to feel the vibration in your wrist and now there are no distractions, and you can start practicing.

It also offers about 6 hours of battery life so you can have multipole range sessions without having to do recharge. It is also sweat resistant and heat resistant so no worries wearing on those hot and humid days.
I have been taking my Sound Brenner Pulse to the range with me over the past weeks, and it is really a great tempo training aid. As someone who has never used a metronome before it is really cool, and the pulse vibration is easy to get used to and follow. It does take a little time to get your tempo to match your swing every time, and that is what you’re training for, because if your tempo is constant that’s one less variable, we all have to worry about when golfing.
Bottom line, the Pulse is a unique and truly helpful golf tempo training aid. I have never seen or used anything like it before and feel it will be a great asset to helping everyone improve. As far as training aids go and improving your tempo, I think the Sound Brenner Pulse is a great solution without question.
