Easily Video Capture Your Golf Swing on The Range, At Home, or Anywhere.

I’ve had people tell me over the years, your swing looks like this or that. I’ve never really thought much about it, as I always thought based on what they saw, I could do a minor tweak here or there to fix what they said I was doing wrong. Until now!

I saw someone at my range doing what looked like filming his swing, and I asked him what he was doing. He said he was filming his swing so his coach could help him evaluate his swing. I said to myself, I need that. Instead of golf buddies making comments, why not video my swing and get real feedback and real fixes, so I found a company called iRange Sports who sells the exact product I was searching for.

The iRange Sports Stick EXT is a long metal (lightweight) pole that you can attach your cell phone or iPad to magnetically and take video of your swing. You can do it on the range, at home, anywhere you can swing a golf club. It is very simple to use and comes with both a flat bottom and a pointed bottom to stick into the ground.

Here are some features of the iRange Sports Stick EXT from the company….

Light weight, No setup required, Fits easily in any size golf bag, Usable on any phone, very steady footage, Use on driving the range and on the course, Works with most air vents magnet holders in vehicles, Allows for vertical and horizontal footage, Option to add a collapsible indoor stand.

I have taken the iRange Sports Stick EXT to the range with me now several times, and it’s great. I have taken videos of my swing at the driving range, putting green, and chipping area. I have shown the video to my PGA Pro and we have determined how to fix a few swing flaws I definitely have.

Bottom line, the iRange Sports Stick EXT is a great training tool that allows you to see what is happening with your swing or putt. Now I can play back my swing video in slow motion, and I can see what my swing really looks like. Then after getting some instruction from my PGA Pro, I can clearly see on video if the changes I am trying to make I am doing correctly. Now, once a month or so, I take a video of my swing or putting and take it to my PGA Pro for a quick evaluation, I love it!
