As far as tees goes, I have tried all sorts of them from many known and unknown companies who all have some sort of special feature or benefit. These golf tees have been used on computer-controlled robot drivers to prove their results.
The company is Martini Golf Tees who you may be familiar with. I have seen them in golf stores but I have never used them until recently, and what I found was pretty impressive. I used both a Martini Golf Tee with a built-in base so it’s the same exact height every time and a Martini Golf Tee with no built-in base.
Here is some info from the company regarding their Martini Golf Tees…
*We make four styles and three sizes. Our Original and Step-Up Tees are 3-¼ inches tall. We also make a 2-inch and 2-¾ inch versions of the Original. They’re all made from a proprietary polymer resin created by Cliff Baker, a member of the Plastics Hall of Fame.
*They usually last 40 to 50 rounds; not holes; rounds. The verified record is 200 rounds, but we’re had unofficial reports of people playing the same tee for 300 rounds
*Martini Tees were used by a PGA pro in the 2011 and 2012 PGA Championship. They’re used by LPGA players on the tour.
*Are they “legal”?
–Yes; all four types of Martini Tees have been evaluated by both the USGA (US Golf Association) and the R&A (The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews in Great Britain) and they all conform with the Rules of Golf. They’re “legal” for any tournament and for tracking your handicap.
I have been using both the Martini Golf Tees with the bump on the shaft for consistent height and the Martini Golf Tee without the bump. Both have performed incredible, and I have yet to break or even damage one after playing over a dozen rounds of golf. I prefer the one without the bump if I am trying to hit the tee shot a little lower as I can set the height lower, however my normal drives are with the bump. Both have given me extra distance without question, and I feel much more confident using them. Plus, they are so easy to set the golf ball on and even lean a little forward if you prefer.
The company website is, https://www.martinigolftees.com/ and you can purchase them at most golf stores or online at places like Amazon. Keep in mind if it looks like a Martini® but doesn’t say Martini® it’s not a genuine Martini! Most likely it’s a cheap Chinese-made copy of our remarkable tee. So, make sure it says Martini on the package and the golf tee.
