More Speed with A Simple Training Aid.

Rypstick golf

The first thing I always say when I’m either getting a lesson or buying a new driver is…I want more distance. I’m pretty sure everyone says this and wants more distance; as hitting the ball further has so many advantages. So does buying a new driver help? The answer I think is if your driver is over 5 years old, maybe, however buying a new driver every year will not get you the extra 10 yards every new driver promises.

I can say from experience unfortunately from buying a new driver every 1-2 years that this is not the way to gain extra yards. Lessons can help hitting the ball more solid and straighter, yet gaining distance is really all about swing speed, and increasing your swing speed is the key to longer drives and irons.

Rypstick has videos on their website which guide you from a warm up routine to 4 different levels of protocols. With each level you have the ability to print off the level so you can take it to the range or you can always view it on your cell phone or laptop/ipad. The levels are extremely easy to follow and use.

I’ve been using the Rypstick swing speed training aid for several months now. It’s a very simple swing speed training aid that has 3 interchangeable weights that are very simple to add and remove. After progressing through the protocols, I’ve gained about 8 mph of swing speed which is about 20+ additional yards off the tee. I am also about 1 club longer with my irons. The key is to use the Rypstick 3 times per week, every week. Every time I go to the range before golfing, I grab my Rypstick first and do my protocol. It takes only a few minutes and then I go into my pre-round range routine.

Bottom line, the Rypstick is an excellent swing speed training aid. It is very easy to use, fits in your golf bag and if you put the time into using the Rypstick swing speed gains are definitely possible. The Rypstick is used by over 75 tour players, 300+ teaching professionals and 4 of the world’s top 210 long drive professionals.

The company website is www.rypstick.com and the cost is $189.00. The Rypstick video training protocols are free on the website along with a series of swing fix training videos.
