Staying hydrated and eating the right things on the golf course will definitely help you play better, and feel better throughout the round. There are many choices for protein, and I’ve tried many options out there, however I have now found bars and puffs(which are like a bar just lighter and less chewy) that taste great. I really can’t wait to grab one from my cooler bag before my round and at the turn.

The Built protein Bars come in Double Chocolate, Coconut, Salted Caramel, Peanut butter and several other tasty flavors. The Built Bars have up to 19grams of protein which is great to have while playing golf for 4+ hours. Most are around 130 – 180 calories and only 4 grams of sugar.
The Built Puffs are light and fluffy and taste like flavored marshmallow. They are available in a bunch of flavors including my favorite Cookie Dough Chunk, which tastes awesome in my opinion. Other flavors include Peanut Butter Cookie Chunk, Mint Chip, Peanut Butter, Brownie Batter, and several others. The Built Puffs have on average 15 grams of protein, 140-160 calories, and up to 8 grams of sugar depending on flavor.
I have been eating Built Bars and Puffs and they are awesome! First, they taste great, as mentioned the Bars are chewy while the Puffs are like eating a tasty marshmallow flavored treat. You would never know when eating them how much protein they have and how good they are for you, especially on the golf course compared to many other options out there. I have been playing much better the past few weeks, and I have been eating a Puff or Bar before both before the round starts and at the turn. I feel more energized and more focused.
Bottom line, we all have choices on what to eat on the golf course to stay on point, and I recommend Built Bars and Puffs. Staying energized is what we all need while golfing, especially as we golf while it’s hot and we are on the golf course for many hours.
