I know my golf hats get dirty, sweaty and need to get a cleaning every few months or so. I’ve heard of many ways to clean your golf hat, however, there is one tried and true product that has been around for quite a while.

I have washed so far 6 hats in the dishwasher using the Ballcap Buddy hat washer. You simply open the frame from the back only, not the front clips. Then snap it closed and place it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I can say that all 6 hats came out significantly cleaner. They were still a little damp, so I left them out and the next day they were in perfect shape, smelled great and looked almost new.

I’ve also tried the Black Edition Prime Cap cleaning kit and it also does a very good job cleaning your hats. It removed several dirt marks and sweat stains I had on my golf hats. Even though it does an excellent job, I prefer the original Ballcap Buddy Hat Cleaner as it’s justb so easy to put your golf hat into Ballcap Buddy and throw it in the dishwasher and no additional work is needed. I guess it’s just a personal preference, and if you don’t have a dishwasher the Black Edition is a great choice.
