Yes! An All Weather Golf Glove With Enhanced Grip.

I’m always in search of the next great golf glove.  A few common big-brand names dominate the retail shelves and pro shops . . . do these brands really represent the best gloves that are available? I’ve previously reviewed a number of glove brands that aren’t well known and have found all of them to offer a superior fit, function and value than the big brands.

Maintaining this blog’s fine tradition of reviewing new and innovative products, I now am pleased to review golf gloves sold by a company called Grip Boost. In addition to offering two different golf gloves, Grip Boost sells football and baseball gloves as well.

I first tested the Grip Boost Tour Second Skin Glove, which is made of AAA Cabretta leather and I found it to be exceptionally soft to the touch. The glove was not bulky or restrictive – it was very breathable.  I used this glove for several rounds over a handful of very hot and humid days. I was impressed at how my hands never got sweaty. Overall, I found the Tour Second Skin Glove to perform very well as they were comfortable, soft and kept my hands dry.

My second test was on the Grip Boost Hyper Touch Glove, which was also made from AAA Cabretta leather, which is a highly breathable and comfortable material. This love is unique thanks to the glove’s  fingers having little nubs which enhanced my hand’s grip on my club. Similar to my first glove test, I also used the Hyper Touch on several rounds of golf in hot and humid conditions. In addition to keeping my hands dry, the Hyper Touch provided a nice tacky grip and performed excellent. The Hyper Touch glove provided added control of the club, which ultimately gave me more confidence which lead to better shots and lower scores.

The company website is www.gripboost.com and the golf gloves cost around $19.95, and if you buy more than one the cost can be as low as $15.96 for four.

Overall, I found that Grip Boost’s 2 glove offerings were both as good, if not better, than the commonly found retail brands, but at a more competitive price. The Grip Boost gloves are definitely worth trying, especially if you play in hot and humid conditions.
