I have tested many range finders, and I get to see what makes one better or unique from the others. I have found a new company that is offering a really solid rangefinder at a very fair price.
The company is ZYDAR, and they the Pro Z1 golf range finder. It has a range up to 1300 yards, slope, dual color red, and black, and has an IPX7 waterproof rating. As soon as you pick up the ZYDAR Z1 range finder you can feel it is extremely well made. It weighs about 10oz which is only the slightly heavier side, however it fits perfectly in my hand and is very easy to keep my hand steady while using it.

The ZYDAR Z1 is also magnetic which I prefer, and Pin Mode which is When the laser beam scans over two or more objects (such as a flagpole and a tree), the distance to the nearest object (flagpole) is displayed. Simultaneously vibrating, a sudden change in the flashing of a flag on the screen indicates that the distance to the flagpole is locked. Another huge feature is the Aspherical Glass which makes rangefinders work better in different lighting on the golf course, especially in shadows or low light. Aspherical elements reduce display distortions, ensuring accurate presentation of information like distance measurements.
Bottom line, if you are interested in a very high quality, well built, magnetic, and waterproof rangefinder, the ZYDAR Z1 is a great choice. It has all the features you need and is crystal clear when shooting objects. The Z1 uses a battery to charge, and I am a fan of everything the ZYDAR Z1 has to offer.
