I’ve played all the golf balls out there from Top Flite to Titleist and literally everything in between. I’m always looking for those extra few yards or better short game spin.
Most of the higher end golf balls cost over $45. There has to be comparable golf balls that don’t cost that much, maybe a company who isn’t paying hundreds of tour pros’ or selling wholesale to retailers who must mark the price up to make a profit. My point is why spend $45-$50 per dozen on golf balls when there is a great direct to consumer company that offers golf balls that may be as good as if not better golf balls at a much better price. The company I am talking about is, Quantix Golf.
Quantix Golf offers 2 golf ball models; for faster swingers their F18 Tour model and for more control and distance their F35 Control golf ball. As per the company website in performance tests both golf balls had longer carry distance than the ProV1, Bridgestone Tour BXS, and the Snell MTB X. Also the tests showed the dispersion was extremely similar to the golf balls mentioned above.
I played several rounds with both balls. I personally prefer the F35 Control as my swing speeds are not high enough to get the full benefits of their F18 Tour golf ball. The F35 Control golf balls were excellent with the driver, wedges and on the greens. I could not tell the difference from the Quantix golf balls and my everyday Titleist golf ball.
