The Zero Golf training aid forces to stop scooping the golf ball and start hitting down on the ball. Starting with half swings and then working your way up to full swings in the key. Also starting with a slower pace and gradually up to a normal swing speed id very important.
I am been practicing with the Zero Golf Carbon club training aid now for over 2 months. It’s similar in length to a 7-iron, with the exception that it feels like it’s made of wood, the shaft is square, and has a square grip. The face has zero loft, so don’t expect to hit any golf shots high in the air. I’m been able to get the golf ball about a foot off the ground after lots of practice.
The Zero Golf training aid Carbon club is a challenge to be honest. It takes a lot of practice to get the golf ball off the ground, which is the key to not scooping the golf ball, and hitting down on it. However, with zero loft it takes time and practice. Once you get it, it’s pretty amazing how your iron shots now fly much straighter.
Bottom line, the Zero Golf Carbon club is an excellent training aid. It is a training aid you must take your time with in order to improve your club face control; it is a very challenging training aid to figure out. In my opinion if the company offered training videos it would be very helpful, however at this time they do not. The Carbon club is well made and very high-quality, and with time, practice and patience, it will help you improve.
