I have done a few reviews for this company in the past, and they are constantly evolving with putters unlike anyone else in the industry. In my opinion, they are the original center shafted putter company offering perfect lie angle balance. Their newest putter is something very, very special to say the least.
The company is L.A.B. Golf and their newest putter, the DF3i, now comes with a faster and firmer stainless-steel insert. Like their original DF3 it stays square by itself and is extremely forgiving on mishits. The L.A.B. DF3i also offer comes in a compact head shape, and the way the front and middle of the putter push in, for example, makes it look smaller and punches up forgiveness. The golf ball-sized cutout (The Gimme Getter) in the middle of the putter took on a life of its own and makes picking up your golf ball without ever having to bend over a great feature.
Plus, the L.A.B. DF3i offer some amazing customization options. The Custom versions of DF3i offers their full range of industry-leading customizations. Every putter is hand-balanced and assembled, going through up to 10 stages of craftsmanship before it leaves our shop.
I have been gaming my new L.A.B. DF3i putter for about a month and it is a game changer. It squares itself which makes hitting putts closer to the hole every time easy. The new stainless-steel insert is something I am really getting used to as I prefer the golf ball to come off a little “hot” or “faster” so I’m not leaving putts short. When I mishit a putt the golf ball still stays much more online and gets closer to the hole than any other putter. I think it could be the most helpful putter for anyone who wants to improve their putting.
Bottom line, the new L.A.B. DF3i is an amazing putter with so many features and benefits for every golfer. It is perfectly balanced, and you don’t have to put in any effort to square the putter, so the golf ball rolls straighter and smoother on every putt. The stainless-steel insert I really like so putts are not ending up short nearly as often, and 3-putts are almost non-existent using the DF3i. It really is a game changer, and I’m a huge fan of it!
