The Sound Caddy is a golf-inspired premium speaker that is designed to look just like a golf driver, with two (2) premium speakers that are embedded within the driver’s “head”. Interestingly, the Sound Caddy’s head is detachable and has a spike-type mount which allows it to be stored directly within the golf tee holder in your golf cart. This detachable feature makes this speaker system portable, allowing you to transport it almost anywhere.
Another excellent feature is the Sound Caddy includes two (2) USB charging ports for cell-phones, iPads and other similar devices. The Sound Caddy is also splash and water resistant, although I wouldn’t get it wet on purpose.
Pairing the Bluetooth to my iPhone was simple and the instructions on how to put the Sound Caddy together were easy as well. It took me less than 3 minutes to fully assemble the Sound Caddy. NOTE: The controls are very large on the face of the driver and very straight forward to use and understand.
I took my Sound Caddy out for several rounds, and the fidelity was awesome for its size – clear, crisp sound with great bass. Connecting to my phone was quick, and changing the volume was as easy as can be. The Sound Caddy worked flawlessly for every round while simultaneously charging my phone. I have not let the sound go on for more than 27 holes, so I cannot validate how long a single charge will last, but my personal experience was for 27 holes and it did just fine.
