I always bring something to a friend’s house when I’m invited over, whether it’s to watch golf on television (like the Masters or Ryder Cup) or just hanging out and having a few drinks on the weekend.
I try to bring different and fun types of treats, other than the typical bottle of wine, six pack of beer or a favorite desert. I found some very delicious, golf-themed chocolates on line. Because these candies seemed so unique, I just had to give them a try.

Being the golf enthusiast that I am, I chose to order several different golf shaped chocolates including. My order included golf ball lollipops made of white chocolate, milk chocolate golf clubs and milk chocolate golf bags. Each piece looked really authentic, and in my opinion, made a great gift for the party I was invited to. I chose to conduct my own taste test before bringing the chocolates to the party, so I dove in, and wow were they good! I found the chocolates to be something similar in taste to that of a Hershey bar, yet I found the consistency to be a bit more firm. Overall, the chocolate was very good, and without question I brought my remaining order of Candy Cottage chocolates to the party.
The party hosts and guests all seemed to really enjoy the taste of the Candy Cottage chocolate candies, and I was told again and again that the gift was very thoughtful. Fortunately I snapped a few pictures (below) before they were all devoured. Bottom line. . . bringing a fun and unique gift to a party makes both you and the party’s host feel good. A gift like Candy Cottage chocolates shows that you had put some time , effort and thought into the gift. I think my gift was the highlight of the night, as the chocolate was a hit!
