New and Improved SuperStroke Putter Grips!

superstroke putter grip

My everyday putter grip is a SuperStroke Flatso 1.0. I would estimate that the SuperStroke grip is about 3-4 years ago, and it was definitely showing some wear. So, I stated looking at a new putter grips, and saw SuperStroke has a new and even better SuperStroke Flastso, so I had to give it a try.

The new SuperStroke Flatso line is called Zenergy. Here are the tech specs from the company… Introducing Zenergy, SuperStroke’s new line of putter grips featuring enhanced Spyne technology, new multi-zone texturing, and our patented no-taper shape for unmatched confidence to quiet your hands – and your mind. Features Include:

  • Enhanced Spyne™ Technology – The new Spyne™ Technology has an improved, embossed ridge along the underside of the grip, engineered to make it easier to square the face at impact.
  • New Multi-Zone Texturing – Strategically placed textured in high-sensory areas designed to optimize feedback and comfort from the incredibly soft polyurethane outer layer.
  • No Taper Technology – Our patented No Taper minimizes grip pressure with an advanced parallel design that enables golfers to quiet their hands and add consistency to their stroke.
  • Tech-Port – Located at the top of SuperStroke grips, Tech-Port allows golfers to easily add game-improvement options including the patented CounterCore weight system and performance tracking sensors.

I put on a brand new Zenergy SuperStroke Flatso 1.0 and 2.0 on 2 different putters I use. I immediately noticed the grip had a better feel in my hands and was slightly more comfortable. I could tell the spine was slightly raised and after a few practice putts, and the feedback was better. My hands were quieter, and it allowed me to use more shoulder turn and less hands in my putting stroke.

I continue to use the SuperStroke Flatso Zenergy 1.0 as it fits my hands better than the 2.0. I have been putting better and have averaged about 2 –3 less putts per round. I feel very confident with the new grip and my putting stroke. I can’t over-emphasize how great it feels in my hands, but I really can’t wait to get to the green and pull my putter out.

Bottom line, the new SuperStroke Zenergy Flatso 1.0 is awesome. It has helped lower my number of putts per round and feels great. I love the no taper shape, which allows me to have minimal grip pressure and a much smoother putting stroke.
