Practicing golf bunker shots has always been reserved for going to the practice area, as there has never been anywhere else to practice this. I did a lot of searching and found a company that makes a product that simulates playing out of a bunker, yet you can do it from anywhere you like, with no bunker or sand required.

I took the Pocket Bunker to the practice area and used it for several hours over several days to see how it worked. I hit over 100 shots with the Pocket Bunker, and I really wanted to give it a good test. Bottom line, it is a very good practice tool, and it did simulate bunker shot, ship shots and pitches. However, the only issue I have with it was it does not roll out like a real golf ball. It bounces around so you can’t tell where your real golf ball would end up because it does not roll out or spin like a real, golf ball.
