There are options when it comes to brushes to clean your golf clubs, and some just don’t hold up. Finding a high-quality golf brush in my opinion is very important as you need clean grooves on every golf shot to have the best chance for a great golf shot. I have used a water brush and really like it, however for those who prefer a brush that doesn’t use water and can get your golf club grooves really clean I…

I’ve worn Footjoy golf shoes my whole life. I’ve had numerous styles of Footjoy’s over the years and currently own 4 pairs. I always felt that a shoe was a shoe, and as long as it was comfortable and maybe somewhat waterproof that’s the most important part. However, now there’s lots of research and information on the topic of golf shoes that may change your mind. I’m sure like many of you, you have seen the T.V. commercial with Sir…
Are all towel created equal? Well, that’s a hard question to answer, however in my opinion as a long-time golfer, the answer is definitely no! Every time I play golf I bring a towel with me to the golf course, without exception. I usually try to bring a towel that holds a little bit of water and helps to get rid of dirt and sand from my golf clubs and golf balls throughout the round. Until recently there were not…

There are thousands of divot tools out there, and I’ve written about more than a handful. Putting is perhaps the most important element of everyone’s golf game, so it’s no surprise that there are so many different putters to support all the different putting styles. I’ve tried numerous putting training aids, and I found each one to be more of a chore than an enjoyable exercise. I’m pleased to report that I’ve found a great putting training aid that works. It has no electronics and can be used both indoors and outdoors. Most importantly, it’s a…
When on the range and putting green, I sometimes wonder why my golf ball goes right, left, or not where I intended it to go. I usually use an alignment stick at the range, and on the putting green, I always tinker with various training aids I recently started using LongShot Golf’s Impact Labels, which has helped me diagnose my off-kilter shots. The company has been offering their impact labels for over 30 years and these labels are by far…
