If you’re not marking your golf ball before you put the golf ball in play, that’s a big mistake and could even cost you strokes or a match. You need to be able to identify your golf ball from your competitors golf ball, so you are playing your ball only, and with so many people playing the same brand of golf balls it’s required. Marking your golf ball is simple and easy to do. I’ve used a straight purple line,…
It has happened to me several times, and I’m sure you have either witnessed it or have done it yourself. You left a club on a hole somewhere and you are now running back asking everyone behind you if they found your golf club. And I’m not sure if you have ever noticed but either inside the pro-shop or at the starters shack they tend to be a bunch of golf clubs in there. Those are the golf clubs they…
Everyone now is having extra distance, and they are some very good training aids to help with that. However, I have found that most are a bit cumbersome and some of those golf training aids have you believe you can get extra distance in a very short period of time. If you are serious about added distance, I have found an excellent golf training aid, but to be clear this isn’t something that happens quick or in a few days.…
Most golf gloves are made from some amount and quality of leather, and feel nice, however, the grip they offer on the golf club in my opinion is just ok. I’ve reviewed many golf gloves and still the best golf gloves, with the best golf grip are from Claw Glove. Claw Glove now has a new model out, called the Claw Max. The Claw Max golf glove from Claw Glove is truly unique. Here’s the benefits the company describes it…
My golf shoes are not as comfortable my everyday shoes I wear, so if there was a product that could make my most comfortable shoes golf shoes, well.. that’s an idea I can get behind! And there is such a product, and it’s from Just 4 Kickss. The product is actually really cool and really simple to put to use. You simply glue the rubber spike pads to the soles of your most comfortable shoes, and they instantly turn into…
Using alignment sticks has always been very helpful while practicing on the range, however the alignment sticks don’t always stay in the correct position. After reviewing a product from this company last year which was a great help, they updated their Golf Boks so a new review was needed. The company is Golf Boks, and they make a very helpful alignment training aid system so your practice can be much more productive. Now, Golf Boks has come out with an…
I have used golf gps watches, laser range finders, and tons of apps to give me the distance to the pin, front, middle, and back and much more. I believe that the laser range finders give you the most accurate distances, however there are times on the golf course where you can’t see the pin, and having a way to know the front, middle, and back of the green is really helpful. I also have used a few golf technology…
I try everything to get better rhythm and timing, as I know that with a smoother rhythm my shots will do what I what them to do. I also te3nd to have a very fast tempo which at times causes shots to go not where I want them to, so if there is a training aid that can help with these issues, then I’m all in. Fortunately, I have found an amazing company that offers exactly what all golfers need…
I prefer a laser range finder, and some are not magnetic, so you need to use a magnetic strap if you want it to stay in a very convenient location on the golf cart. I have reviewed others, which to be fait has been very good, however I found a new magnetic strap for my laser range finder which is super magnetic. The company is StripeBird, and they make magnetic straps for range finders, as well as, a magnetic clip…
Having a game plan was something I really never thought much about. You hear the PGA pro’s talk about having a plan but I thought how do I ever come up with a plan, thinking it would be more of guesswork than a real plan. Well, I found an app that can help with a solid game plan and offers several options. The app is www.hello-birdie.com and it has a bunch of very cool features. Before you even start playing…
