Distance off the tee is a huge advantage for every golfer. Finding a golf tee that can help find any added distance off the tee has been a lifelong journey. Being a somewhat short hitter, adding even an additional 5 yards means a lot, so I continually search for a golf tee that can help.
A new golf tee that just became available is a new Power Tee, from Zero Friction. The Zero Friction Power tee has a deeper 3-prong shape which reduce drag even more than their ZFT Maxx golf tees. This results in more distance and accuracy of the tee.
I tried the Zero Friction Power golf tees over 6 rounds of golf. My test was done at my home course so I know my average driving distance and where I usually land my golf ball after a good drive. On average my drives were a little longer, but more important I hit more fairways than I usually do, which resulted in almost every round I lower scores. The Zero Friction Power tees also never broke, so I used the same golf tee over the full 6 rounds of golf.
