I’ve been using a Bushnell Pro X2 range finder for the past 3 years and I must admit it is very good and easy to use. However, the cost when I bought it was $499, which as we all can agree is a lot of money. Also it does not have any magnets built in, so I had to buy a strap which costs me another $19.99. Again, over all I like it, but there must be a rangefinder that’s as good as much less expensive.

I tested over several rounds just to see if weather conditions would change any readings. On both models I used them with the slope on as my home course is very hilly, and slope is a major factor on numerous shots throughout the golf course.
Bottom line, both were within a yard or two on almost every reading, and they were both very accurate. I know my distances to the flag and landing areas on every hole after playing my home course over 300+ times over many years.
The bottom line is that the Blue Tees Series 3 Max has a bunch of advantages over my Bushnell. First it costs $259.99, which is over 40% less than my Bushnell. Second, it has built in magnets that are very strong and stick to the golf cart and never moved an inch. Third, it is slightly smaller, so it fits in my hands much better. Fourth, it has a red display which made it clearer to see. And some additional benefits are that it has a range of over 900 yards, is water resistant, and has advanced flag lock.
