Let’s be honest how many of us actually clean our golf clubs on a regular basis, I’m sure the answer is not many. I can guarantee you that every professional golfer has their golf clubs cleaned after every round and after every practice session. Because even the slightest advantage is worth the few minutes it takes to clean your golf clubs from top to bottom. I recently discovered an actual system to get your golf clubs cleaned, from top to…
We’ve all seen PGA Pro’s pull those Little Green Golf Books out of their back pocket. I’ve always imagined having my own green book, wondering if I’d then start making more puts or stop missing the cup by 4 feet? The day has finally come where we can all have our own Green Golf Book for our favorite courses! Golf Logix has launched their own Golf Green Books, representing over 14,000 different courses. Naturally, I just had to get one…
The Sound Caddy is a golf-inspired premium speaker that is designed to look just like a golf driver, with two (2) premium speakers that are embedded within the driver’s “head”. Interestingly, the Sound Caddy’s head is detachable and has a spike-type mount which allows it to be stored directly within the golf tee holder in your golf cart. This detachable feature makes this speaker system portable, allowing you to transport it almost anywhere. Another excellent feature is the Sound Caddy…
Although this season is still young, my scores have been somewhat disappointing. I seem to have lost a degree of accuracy with my driver and irons, so I’ve begun searching for answers. Because all clues pointed to my grip, I thought that I may have been doing something different subconsciously – something that I hadn’t been doing before. After repeatedly practicing to hold my hands at different places up, down and around the grip, I decided to try The Perfect Golf Grip,…
Because I seem to require an energy boost after the front 9 holes, I usually carry a bag of peanuts to eat at the turn. A small bag of peanuts is an easy and convenient snack that I always carry in my golf bag. Sometimes I splurge with a hot dog at the turn, but I’m convinced that there are better ways to maintain my endurance without sacrificing nutrition. I shy away from traditional energy bars as I don’t enjoy…
6-17-19 – Update… After using the Tune Driver for 2 months, it would not charge. The cord would not fit cleanly into the charging spot and the head would not charge. I have asked the company for a replacement and I am still waiting for the replacement head. The sound was always good, not being able to charge the unit is a definite issue. My weekday golfing group prefers to not listen to music while on the links. That all…
As long as I’ve been a golfer, my preferred go-to golf glove brand has been FootJoy. I’ve tried others over the years, but I’ve always gone back to FootJoy because I preferred their glove’s fit and feel. I’m always searching for those newest, latest and greatest golf products . . . which is how I came across the Mokom brand of golf gloves. Mokom makes gloves for Golf, Football, Baseball and Tennis. I found their golf gloves to be the…
I’ll be blunt – the putter cover that comes free with the putter that you purchase is pretty darn basic and nothing to write home about. I know Scotty Cameron and Odyssey do sell some custom putter covers, which are unique and of better quality than what’s included free with your putter, but there simply has to be better options for the golfer who wants to make a “statement”. A company called KickInCovers manufactures very unique and detailed putter covers…
While searching for a unique gift for my golf pal who is a fan of an occasional taste of whiskey, I came across a company called Licker Pickers, and they sell whiskey flavored sunflower seeds and toothpicks. After learning about their products on the company’s site, I thought that this was pretty interesting and was sure that my friend, as well as many others who like to drink, may find these items to be great gift ideas. What’s the connection…
