I use a range finder almost all the time when I golf. I have used range finders that cost upwards of $600, and to be fair they are very good, and have a ton of features. However, finding a high-quality range finder that doesn’t break the bank is something I’m sure a lot of people would be interested in. I have found just what I think a lot of people will be excited about, a low cost, high-quality range finder.…
I have used a lot of different brands of range finders, some expensive, some not expensive, some with slope, some without. However, I have never seen a range finder that has True “Play As” Distance which is as accurate as this range finder. I am talking about the new Bushnell Pro X3. It has some of the most amazing features possible. Some of the amazing features includes Elements Compensation which takes into account Distance, Temperature, Barometric Pressure and Slope. It…
I’ve used golf watches in the past and they do a pretty good job. However, what I thought were good features in the past have been blown away by the brand-new Garmin S62 golf watch. The Garmin S62 golf watch has a ton of options to help you on the golf course. Here are just a few that you will really enjoy. It can last up to 20 hours without recharging…amazing. It has over 41,00 preloaded courses with zero fees,…
I prefer a laser range finder and have used them for years. I tried the watches and they are good, however when you have lots of uphill greens you need a laser to get you a much more precise distance than front, back, and center distances only. Cobalt Golf offers a direct to consumer Q-6 Slope Rangefinder that offers premium optics and slope, and I just had to try it. Here are some specs from the company…. After taking it…
I have used golf gps watches, laser range finders, and tons of apps to give me the distance to the pin, front, middle, and back and much more. I believe that the laser range finders give you the most accurate distances, however there are times on the golf course where you can’t see the pin, and having a way to know the front, middle, and back of the green is really helpful. I also have used a few golf technology…
I prefer a laser range finder, and some are not magnetic, so you need to use a magnetic strap if you want it to stay in a very convenient location on the golf cart. I have reviewed others, which to be fait has been very good, however I found a new magnetic strap for my laser range finder which is super magnetic. The company is StripeBird, and they make magnetic straps for range finders, as well as, a magnetic clip…
I have used a range finder for over 5 years now. My home course has many uphill and downhill greens, so I prefer a range finder over a gps watch to get the most accurate distance. There are several really good range finders on the market, however most high-end golf range finders cost upwards of $400-$600. Well, I have found an excellent range finder with tons of features at a great price. The range finder is Eagle Eye Gen 3…
There are several major benefits of using a GPS golf watch over a laser range finder. The most important in my mind has always been the ability to see the front and carry distances to hazards. However, there are other advantages such as, score keeping, shot distance tracking, and seeing the entire golf hole and how it plays. However, there has never been a GPS Watch that does performance tracking and high level analysis until now! The GPS Watch is…
I’ve used a range finder for about 5 years, and as you can see from the picture below, the magnetic strap I’ve used is pretty bulky. Now, to be fair the bulky strap worked very well, but at times it would slip over my button to shoot the flag and bottom line was just bulky. The good news is that I found a company that sells range finder magnetic straps that are much less bulky. I think it would…
Handheld GPS units, lasers and GPS watches have become commonplace. After looking for something that’s more convenient and easier to travel with, I was impressed to have come across the Distance Pro GPS Golf Glove. The Distance Pro Golf Glove has access to over 35,000 golf courses, so finding your home course, or virtually any other domestic course should not be an issue. The Distance Pro Golf Glove is battery powered , and pairs wirelessly via Bluetooth with your smart…
