Putting is the real key to lower scores. You putt more times in every round than you do anything else; as high as two to three times as much as any other golf club in the bag. Finding a putting system that works and helps you to use your putter fewer times is the true key to lower scores. I have found such a really unique putting training system, it’s called the Putting Tunnel. It visually trains proper alignment for…
We’ve all been there… trying to use our smartphone on the golf course but it never seems to work. So what do we all do… we take our golf glove off, which is usually hot and sweaty, stretching it out even more, and then we can use our smartphones. What a hassle, until now! Voraus Golf has designed a brand new golf glove that actually lets you use your smartphone with your glove on. Not only is the Voraus golf…
There are many choices when it comes to golf gloves and all are very similar, with the only real difference being some are made with real Cabretta leather and some are synthetic. Until now! The Pro Air golf glove is an unbelievable new concept that adds tiny air pockets inside the golf glove which allows you to hold the golf club with a softer grip. With a softer grip on the golf club it allows for a more relaxed and…
I’ve owned several indoor putting mats and to be honest at best they were just ok, and could certainly could be improved to really help improve your putting skills. Most indoor putting mats are made for you to put towards a hole or cup, in one direction or if you pay more in 2 directions, and in my opinion aimlessly putting back and forth is not a great way to become a better putter. An indoor putting mat I’ve been…
There are so many options when choosing a golf glove, except when you want a golf glove that really stands out. I’m seen a few companies that offer gloves that are black, orange, blue and red, but I’ve never seen any that prefer really cool graphics on the glove… until now! The company HandUp Gloves which started in 2014 as a company making gloves for bike riders. HandUp Gloves now makes gloves for Biking, Snow, and Golf! All of the…
Using either too light a grip on your golf club or too tight a grip (death grip) is what every teaching professional talks about regarding the proper grip pressure. I’ve heard several times, to stop using such a tight grip, and to loosen my grip, but how much, and how do I find the correct amount of grip pressure? I think this is a question many people have and really have a tough time finding the answer to. After a…
Transferring your weight, at just the right moment during your golf swing, is extremely important. Doing this move correctly leads to better ball strikes, which ultimately allows for more powerful contact with the ball and lower scores. And yet, I’ve not found a simple training aid that helps with weight transfer until now. The Pin High Pro Swing Aid helps establish the muscle memory required to consistently and repeatedly complete the swing sequence. Properly transferring your swing weight is key…
Correct hand placement has always been a personal challenge. When a strong hand position doesn’t seem to work, I’ll then shift to a weaker grip. Locating my best hand position is often a struggle. The Lock-in Golf Grip is a simple training aid designed to help the golfer locate the proper hand position. This grip will simply attaches to virtually any golf club and comes with 2 straight line site markers that screw into the butt end of the golf…
I’ve tried many putting training aids, and all emphasize putting your path through the ball. While at the PGA show, I found a very different type of putting training aid and it’s called the Eye Putt Pro. The Eye Putt Pro is unique from other putting aids because the Eye Putt Pro focuses on two principles, 1st – assuring that your putter is always level while behind the golf ball and 2nd making sure your eyes are positioned directly over…
Can I safely hit a golf ball indoors? There’s nothing worse than being cooped up during the long winter months. I personally find that the downtime really hurts my golf game and I wish I could be playing or at least hitting golf balls. In my area there no are heated driving ranges so winter is the worst time of the year. Fortunately, I found a really cool product that lets you hit golf balls indoors and also provides great…
