I’ve generally used a brush when cleaning my golf clubs when I get back to the golf cart. However, there have ben hundreds of times of the years that after a shot the golf ball ended up in a bad spot, and guess what… No time to go back to the golf cart and clean it off so I used a golf club with dirty or sandy grooves. So, what is the answer? The answer is a golf towel that…
Instead of having your golf towel attached using a grommet hook, why not have a golf towel holder that not only looks good but holds and releases your golf towel easily. I take my golf towel to the green on every hole, so when I use the traditional grommet hook for my golf towel, it’s such a pain to take it on and off, until now. The Towel Tag easily attached to any golf bag and let you take your…
Wet and humid Conditions are the worst golf weather, as it makes holding onto the golf grip very challenging. I’ve had many occasions playing in really humid conditions on the east coast were I’m constantly wiping my hands with a towel to get them dried off. I knew there had to be something better than a towel, and there is. The company is SportSack Grip Co., and they made 2 really great products for golfers who need to get a…
Playing in the cold fall and winter months is definitely not ideal, but sometimes you just got to play golf regardless of temperature. When temperatures get below 50, it’s cold and add in the wind and it’s time to layer up. I was playing golf one day and it was in the 40’s and I was pretty cold, so when I got home I starting doing some research as to what could help make the round a little bit better.…
How many times while playing golf you needed another golf ball and your fumbling around in your golf pants pockets trying to get a golf ball out? Not only has fumbling around been an issue for me on several occasions, but I’ve also noticed several times golf ball dimple imprints on my pants pockets where I had the extra golf ball. Both the fumbling and imprint situations are frustrating to say the least. Now, however there is a new way…
The Sound Caddy is a golf-inspired premium speaker that is designed to look just like a golf driver, with two (2) premium speakers that are embedded within the driver’s “head”. Interestingly, the Sound Caddy’s head is detachable and has a spike-type mount which allows it to be stored directly within the golf tee holder in your golf cart. This detachable feature makes this speaker system portable, allowing you to transport it almost anywhere. Another excellent feature is the Sound Caddy…
PGA Tour professional, Jim Furyk, is the brand ambassador for the On Point company who happens to sell a truly unique ball marker – it has a 3-dimensional design unlike anything I’ve seen before. On Point’s marker is domed but can convert to a flat marker if someone’s putting behind you. The On Point ball marker acts as a visual guide that helps you commit to your putting line. It also happens to speed up the pace of play as…
I’ll be blunt – the putter cover that comes free with the putter that you purchase is pretty darn basic and nothing to write home about. I know Scotty Cameron and Odyssey do sell some custom putter covers, which are unique and of better quality than what’s included free with your putter, but there simply has to be better options for the golfer who wants to make a “statement”. A company called KickInCovers manufactures very unique and detailed putter covers…
I use a divot tool all the time and keep it in my pocket. Over the years, I’ve had many types of divot tools, some with one prong and some with two; some were made of plastic and some metal. There are certainly tons of divot tools on the market and each one, if used properly, will help maintain the putting surface and is a courtesy to the golfer(s) following you. Often, you’ll even see signs requesting that golfers repair…
